I Heart My Garden, also known as I Love My Garden, was formed in 2002. It is led by Matt Dux, who is a Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula-based garden designer and landscaper.
Matt’s work ranges from city rooftops, vertical gardens, hospitality venues and commercial gardens, as well as country estates.
Matt’s gardens have been featured in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Design Files, Green Magazine, Australian House and Garden, and on ABC’s Gardening Australia.
Matthew Dux
Before moving into horticulture Matt studied music, composition and fine arts at the university of Sydney.
He approaches his work artistically, emphasizing the living and organic elements while minimizing hard surfaces, faddish structural embellishment and environmentally unsustainable practices.
As a true gardener first and foremost, he prioritizes the fundamentals of the horticultural palette.
Matt has also collaborated with several visual artists over the years in shows such as Signature Style sponsored by the NGV and Crafts Victoria.
